Beef Stew
I love beef stew! Making it with my own seasonings I grew makes me love it even more. Beef stew without the packet seasoning. Less preservatives and less sodium. Health sustainable cooking at its best!!
1 pound beef stew meat (cubed to 1 inch pieces)
3 C Beef Bone Broth (homemade is best but 3 can store bought will do)
¼ C Flour
5 carrots, peeled and cut into thin rounds
2 – 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed or sliced thinly
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
2 Tbsp red wine vinegar or red wine
1 C Red wine
2 Bay leaves
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
½ tsp dried thyme
¼ tsp garlic powder
Brown beef and toss with flour. Add remaining ingredients to stockpot and simmer until beef and vegetables are tender.
