Seasonal Produce Chart
Fruits and vegetables are always best canned at peak ripeness, when in season. This is also when they are the least expensive to purchase. To help be prepared see flow charts below indicating when produce items are “in-season”. If you notice many of the seasons do overlap, these charts should help you maximize your ability to preserve all of the many harvests available.
