Double Up Pasta
Spaghetti AND Lasagna
Meal 1 Spaghetti
Brown 1 pound ground beef in large skillet
Boil noodles in pot
While noodles are boiling add a jar or can of sauce to the meat and heat through.
Generally I have leftover meat sauce… So I use it to make a pan of lasagna. Since there is not enough left to make all the layers, you can substitute mushrooms or just make the other layers with cheese and sauce.
Meal 2 lasagna
Layer sauce,
No bake noodles spread with ricotta or cottage cheese, whichever you prefer
Sliced mushrooms,
Sauce
Noodles with cheese
Leftover meat sauce

Mozzarella cheese
I assemble the lasagna during supper cleanup, it takes 5 minutes. Then I cover and label, and refrigerate. Lasagna is always best when it’s had time to “meld” together. You can also freeze this for a future quick meal. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes thawed if you froze it.

2 28 ounce cans pasta sauce
Spaghetti and lasagna noodles
1 container ricotta or cottage cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
Bonus:
homemade garlic toast
Butter sliced bread and sprinkle garlic powder lightly over the butter.
Put on a piece of foil or a pan in the oven and broil at 350 for 5 min until browned. yummy!!!
